Car is a Pontiac Trans Am Convertible with the SLP (Street Legal Performance) upgrade to become what is known as a "Firehawk"

2002 model manufactured in May 02, manufacture of Trans Ams ceased approx Sep '02.

This is No.1172 of the 1501 Firehawks made that year and one of only 202 convertibles.

Colour is Navy Blue Metallic with Taupe leather interior and soft top.

Standard Trans Am features are, remote locking and alarm, elec mirrors, windows, cruise control, cd player, elec top and traction control.

Final drive ratio is 3.23

4 speed auto

275/40/17 tyres are standard

The SLP option gives Bilstein suspension, Ram Air injection, Composite hood, chrome 17in Firehawk wheels and Firehawk mats/trophy stand (should I ever win any)

Horsepower is between 360 and 380 hp depending on SLP options.    

Has been clocked at 8.54sec over a 1/8th mile track in stock trim at the Pontiac Nationals in Cootamundra in April 2007, this equates to a 13.36 quarter mile time.

Car was bought on Ebay from a dealer in Florida sight unseen and as the only one in this country, took 16 months to get converted and complianced to ADR.
